Treasure Hunting

Do you know how hard it is to find an open rock shop on the Fourth of July? It’s possible that there might be one, but if so, it’s certainly nowhere around here. I’ve been doing some research on rock tumblers. I’ve never purchased one before, because I always preferred the natural look of the rocks I have found. I decided, however, that I have a few that I would like to polish. I don’t want the basic shape of the rocks to change so I am being pretty picky about the tumbler - some type of vibratory one. They can be fairly expensive though so I’d like to see one up close rather than just purchase one from the internet with no clue about how nice it is. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow!
